SOYER l899-l987 Exhibited at the Whitney, Metropolitan, Modern and other prominent museums. Soyer was a Social Realist who often spoke strongly for realism and against abstract styles. He began to show his work in New York galleries in l929 and by the mid l930’s was well known.
